International Travel

By now you will have your travel booked. If you would like to extend your trip for further meetings please seek approval for the additional costs from your manager and arrange locally. Note that there is a rail strike across some networks in the UK on the 06 Dec so please check your route ahead of time. If you arrive into Heathrow airport your best route is to get a taxi from the airport to the venue. For those who are travelling by train please see recommended routes and taxi numbers below:

• Local Taxi number – Windsor Cars 01753 57 21 21
• Eurostar – St Pancras to Liverpool Street, via the Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City line. From Liverpool street get on the Elizabeth line to Heathrow and taxi from there.
• London Office – walk to Farringdon station (10 mins) and get the Elizabeth line to Heathrow. Once arrived please get a taxi from there to the venue.

UK Travel

Given the recent news over rail strikes we have organised a coach departing from the Bristol Halo office at 07:15am on the 07 December with a return coach departing from the hotel at 09:00am the following morning. Please ensure you have amended your registration via the confirmation to book a seat and ensure any rail tickets booked have been cancelled. For our London team the strikes shouldn’t disrupt any rail travel on the 07 – 08 Dec, you can get a direct train to and from Egham via Waterloo.

For our London team we have a coach departing Egham Station at 09:30 on 07 Dec to take you to the De Vere. The following morning there will be a coach departing the De Vere at 09:00 to take you back to Egham Station.

If you have business travel insurance and wish to drive there is plenty of car parking available on site and reservations are not required. Again, where possible if you are travelling by car, please consider car sharing with colleagues.
