The Metaverse Week – An Introduction

The metaverse has featured widely in future predictions for where digital innovations will take us next. This opening session will set the scene for the sessions to come.

We will discuss:

  • what the metaverse is – or could be,
  • the opportunities that it could offer,
  • early metaverse activity and positioning that we are already seeing in the market and
  • some of the big issues that it raises, putting the topics to be discussed in later sessions in this series into context.
