Osborne Clarke held an exciting Smart Cities event at our Bristol office celebrating the South West as a hotbed of innovation for next-generation technologies.
The event featured exhibitors, demonstrations and seminars from South West companies at the forefront of innovation in connectivity, transport, robotics and prop-tech, whose disruptive technology will impact businesses across all industries and help promote the efficiency of the smart cities of the future.
We were particularly delighted to welcome David Rowan, founding editor-in-chief of Wired UK and leading voice on next-generation technology. He spoke about the most exciting advances in the technology sector and the important questions and opportunities they raise for businesses.

"So much useful data is currently invisible in our cities. Just think of the transformative benefits once we can optimise occupancy of autonomous electric transport networks, ensure highly efficient waste recycling, or automatically purify local air-pollution hotspots. We're just at the start of using sensors to improve efficiencies and quality of life."
